Our Mission

Similar to many families, our family has been affected greatly by the battle with cancer. As charity tournaments have been a long-standing tradition within our family, we decided to partner with the American Cancer Society to help keep the fight going. The American Cancer Society’s mission is to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, and to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. We feel this cause would help families like ours continue to fight the good fight.

Tiffany, Brian’s sister

Tiffany has been courageously battling stage four bladder cancer since early 2022. Over the past 3 years, she has faced this relentless disease with unwavering strength and determination. Since her diagnosis, Tiffany has undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, enduring each treatment with resilience and grace. Her fight is a testament to her incredible spirit and the love and support that surround her every step of the way.

Brian

Early in 2024, Brian was diagnosed with stage two prostate cancer, a deeply emotional blow, especially after supporting Tiffany through her own cancer battle. The diagnosis shook our family to our core, but I was fortunate that it was caught early enough to allow for a prompt surgery. The procedure came with minimal downtime and side effects, for which we were incredibly grateful. Still, the experience marked one of the most emotionally challenging periods of our lives, reminding us of the fragility of health and the strength it takes to face the unknown. Because of the advances in cancer research and technology, Brian is now cancer-free.

Lynn, Brian’s mom

At the start of 2025, Lynn was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer, a diagnosis that turned her world upside down. She bravely endured six grueling weeks of radiation and chemotherapy, facing the physical and emotional toll with remarkable courage. Now in recovery, Lynn is focused on regaining her strength and rebuilding a sense of normalcy in her life. Her perseverance and determination continue to inspire everyone around her.
